About Us

Welcome to Tenbury Community Pool Ltd! We are a Registered Charity, providing Tenbury Wells and its surrounding areas with a 25m swimming pool, fully equipped gym, and meeting facilities. The centre is managed by our service provider Halo Leisure, who took over operation on April 1st 2025.

What does this mean?
That the Tenbury Wells and Burford community owns Tenbury Community Pool and their Trustees have contracted out operation to Halo Leisure, another not-for-profit charity. The community’s Trustees are responsible for maintaining and improving the premises, Halo Leisure are responsible to TCP’s Trustees for staffing, membership, and the day-to-day running and performance of the facility.

Our Board of Trustees, give freely of their time to TCP, a not-for-profit charity, including extensive fundraising and community collaboration, ensuring that the residents of Tenbury are fully informed of their role, and the commercial operation of the facility.

We go to ‘great lengths’ to ensure that all facilities- including any upcoming and/or future development of the pool have accessibility at the forefront of planning. We welcome all members and local residents to participate in this wonderful community space, and to 'dive in' and enjoy exercise from both a physical and mental wellbeing perspective.

Our team are always at hand and happy to help in any way we can – we are ‘Here for You’.

Please visit the Contact Us page for details on how to get in touch with TCP.

Hello from Halo Leisure - the NEW people behind Tenbury Community Pool

Halo Leisure is an award winning social enterprise and registered charity with its head office in Leominster, and is bringing its expertise in getting more people more active to Tenbury Community Pool (from Tuesday 1st April 2025).

There are exciting plans for the leisure facility thanks to a new partnership between Tenbury Community Pool (TCP) LTD and Halo Leisure. The partnership means TCP, the charity representing the community that owns the facility, will still own the building and facilities. TCP will have a big say on how they are run and developed, especially when it comes to what’s on offer. Award winning social enterprise Halo Leisure will be responsible for managing and maintaining the leisure centre from 1st April 2025.

For over twenty years Halo Leisure has helped the people of Herefordshire, Shropshire, Bridgend County, Gloucestershire, Merthyr Tydfil, Stratford, Wiltshire and Torfaen County to live a healthier and more active life by managing the leisure centres and swimming pools on behalf of local communities. Halo is a social enterprise and registered charity. This means that they don’t have shareholders and any surplus money is put back into the services and facilities. This helps to keep costs low and offer outstanding value for money so everyone can enjoy an exciting range of leisure opportunities. They have won multiple national awards, in recognition of our work to develop leisure opportunities for local people.
